An unexpected pause, caused by unavoidable circumstances, has kept our project on hold over the past ten days. A break we would have much preferred not to take but one that was made necessary by matters far more serious and significant than boxing or sports in general.
Today, Boxe Punch restarts. It does so quietly, with the awareness that it may not be possible to maintain the same pace as in recent months, when the site was updated almost daily with in-depth articles, interviews, reports, and original analyses. In the near future, there may be slowdowns and additional brief pauses: much will depend on factors beyond our control.
Nonetheless, we have decided to resume because writing about boxing is our passion, and pursuing one’s passions is the best way to face the challenges and hurdles life occasionally places in our path.
In just over six months of activity, we’ve achieved several milestones. Thanks to the translation of our articles into English and their promotion on X, we have gained international recognition, receiving public praise from renowned journalists, industry insiders, and enthusiasts from various parts of the world.
Our Facebook page, launched in early September 2024, has surpassed 1,650 followers, and several ideas are brewing to help it grow further in the months to come.
We are particularly proud to have brought former boxer Andrea Sarritzu on board. His weekly analyses, rooted in the vast experience he gained in the ring, have enhanced the quality of our project, offering readers insights based on the perspective of someone who has squared off against the best fighters of his era.
Some of our pieces have garnered significant interest, both in Italy and abroad. For instance, the compilations of predictions by Italian boxing legends before Bivol vs. Beterbiev and Usyk vs. Fury 2 sparked a great deal of curiosity, even being mentioned during the Italian live broadcast of the major event in Riyadh on December 21 by Alessandro Duran and Niccolò Pavesi on DAZN.
Similarly, the opinion piece on Oleksandr Usyk’s place among the greatest heavyweights of all time gained significant traction, particularly internationally, to the point where I will soon feature in a video interview requested by an English-language website (we’ll share all the details at the appropriate time).
In short, it seems our idea of offering quality content has received a good deal of appreciation and is progressively bearing fruit. This motivates us to persevere and continue on the path we embarked upon last June.
They say greatness isn’t about never falling, but about having the strength to rise after a fall; after taking a heavy knockdown, we’ll strive, with your invaluable support, to get back into the fight with even more grit and determination.
